Is my phone NFC compatible?
Most mid-to-high range Android phones include it. On iPhone, NFC is available on recent models. If your phone has NFC, you can scan.
Do I need to install an app?
No. When you hold your phone near the tag, the verification page opens in your browser. Activation/registration is done from the panel.
How do I activate a tag for the first time?
Scan the tag and complete the item registration with name, details and Photo/PDF evidence. It becomes linked to the item.
What does a person see when they scan?
A public verification with essential item information and its status (e.g. Normal / Stolen) and recommendations.
Does it work without internet?
The scan can detect the tag, but an internet connection is required to view the public verification (because it opens the verification page).
Where should I stick the tag?
In a discreet but accessible spot. Avoid surfaces that prevent scanning and test the read before fixing it permanently.
